Overwhelmed with your house? (and your life?)

We are all different, us moms. We are all in different stages of our parenting. Some are married, some are not. Some work full-time outside the home, some work from home, some have their own business, and some devote the majority of their time to raising their family. (and none of those <– are better than the others)

There are some women who just seem to have it all together. We all have friends like that, and we see moms like that out in public, and they look so put together! And you visit their house and wonder at “where is all their stuff?”

And then there are the rest of us.

The ones who always feel like we are just one juggling ball away from dropping them all.

The ones who wonder what is wrong with them that they “can’t keep up”.

The ones that could just sit in the floor in the middle of toys, clothes, blankets, and kids and cry your eyes out, whether internally or for real.

Because they have no hope, no hope that it will ever get better, at least until all the kids move out (let me tell you, that doesn’t always solve the cleaning problems!)

A Slob Comes Clean

These women are the type that my friend Nony over at A Slob Comes Clean has written her books for. Her book 28 Days to Hope for Your Home is very basic, small specific baby steps, laid out in a fun loving manner. She isn’t promising your house will be shining from top to bottom at the end of 28 days. That would be too overwhelming for the dear mama who is crumpled on the living room floor.

Nony works you through the processes and habits she learned from her own deslobification experience. From her book:

Deslobification: (dee-slob-i-fi-cay-shun) I made up this word. It’s pretty self-explanatory. It basically describes the process I’ve been going through to change myself and my home.

The good news for those of us who are in this condition is that Nony has written a couple of books, and right now, 28 Days to hope for your home is only $5,00. You can download to any computer, and onto any e-reader that can read a PDF file.

We need accountability!

Here’s an additional bonus for those who purchase this bundle. I am starting up a private Facebook group where those of us who want to go through Nony’s 28 days together for encouragement and accountability. It will give us a place to chat IN PRIVATE about our struggles with dirty dishes, dirty laundry, and dirty floors.

Note: While this book is a 28 day book, the FB group will probably continue and we will choose other challenges to work on, with love, encouragement, and NO JUDGEMENT.

Here’s what you need to do to join in:

Step 1: Buy your book

Step 2: Email me or click here to join the Facebook group

Step 3: Login in to the group and introduce yourself!

PS. You can JOIN anytime, there will be ongoing challenges we are working on even after the 28 days!
